Jonny 5's Complete ZQ-8x site |
The ZQ-800, more commonly known as the OZ-800, is in my opinion the most advanced
member of the Sharp Wizard family. When I got my ZQ-800, I was alarmed
to realize that the CD that Sharp provided only contained 8 rudamentery example
programs. I looked online and found that the only reliable sources that I could
find were Wizard Wiki and Ozdev.com. This, I said to myself, was absurd. The
ZQ-800 uses a Toshiba TLCS processor, for which there are several known compilers
and SDKs. With this knowledge on the loose, I thought that somebody should certainly
write some good add-ons and put them online for download. Also, the OZ-800 is a relatively expandable unit as oposed to the 5x and 7x series. At one point, I read a press release on the Sharp site saying that an OZ-900, based on the 800 but with a color screen was coming out, but since I have not heard anything else. The purpose of this site is to bring together all the other pieces of information about the ZQ-800 series and have them all in one place. |
